StuMPA 2020
The 11th edition of the Student Magazine Print Awards, StuMPA 2020, organised by WE MEDIA took place earlier this year. Students of the 2nd and 3rd year Higher Art Education graphic design and publicity invent and execute a magazine advertisement for print with a digital extension.

100 participants from 6 schools took their chance to win a StuMPA. The jury selected 20 students to defend their creation before our jury. The best work from these nominees was shown during MAGnify 2020.

Valentine Cornu from HelHA won the gold award for her campaign “Une histoire de secours” in Femmes d’Aujourd’hui, helping parents invent soothing bedtime stories in 3D
Mila Evrard, ESA Saint Luc won the silver award for her campaign “Be Hors Format” in Flair, celebrating female diversity and beauty
Steve Maes, LUCA School of Arts (Ghent) won a bronze award for his campaign “Let’s change the headlines” in Sport Voetbal Magazine against discrimation in football stadions
An-Sofie Keulen, LUCA School of Arts (Ghent) created the campaign “Ode to the leftovers” to raise awarenss for food wastage in cooperation with Libelle Lekker
Emie Hodeige, HelHa, was nominated with her campaign “Testez vous” in Plus Magazine for Think Pink, raising awareness for the importance of self-testing for breast cancer
Davina Lorenzano, HelHa, created a ‘popcorn’ advertisement for Netflix in a TV magazine
